EASTHAM — The Eastham Affordable Housing Trust reviewed warrant articles for the May 4 town meeting. Chairwoman Carolyn McPherson led the board's review of a $500,000 free cash appropriation for housing programs and a reduction of Community Preservation Act funding from 3 percent to 1.75 percent, with the 1.25 percent reduction redirected to the Workforce and Inclusion Initiative Fund. The trust voted 4-0 to approve January 15 minutes and voted 3-0 to recognize Vice Chair Aimee Eckman for years of service.
McPherson proposed a summit with the Department of Public Works and Select Board to plan the future of three town-owned properties: the motel, salt pond apartments, and Beach Plum.
