EASTHAM — Board of Assessors approves four real estate abatements in executive session. Chair Davis Hobbs and the board unanimously approved value reductions at 10 Ben's Way ($1.68M FY2027 building value), 50 Tern Lane (reduced to $875.3K from $951.6K), 75 Massasoit Road (garage downgraded to "poor"), and 105 Shurtleff (excess land factor cut from 0.95 to 0.50, dropping land value to $1.486M). Principal Assessor Colleen Mercurio said the office will analyze remaining RTE applications and consider postcards to reach residents unaware of exemptions.
