Conservation Commission · Meeting of July 14, 2026
Eastham Conservation Commission voted on multiple environmental permits Tuesday, approving tree removals with mitigation work at residential properties, coastal restoration work at Bayberry Lane properties, and septic system improvements. The Commission also approved certificates for deck installations and reissued permits for diamondback terrapin habitat improvements. In the meeting's most complex matter, the Commission voted unanimously to hire an independent consultant to review a Brownell Road building relocation project, citing concerns about building location verification and damage to the septic leaching area.
The application was continued to August 25, 2026, pending the consultant's findings.
