Commission continues wastewater review, approves coastal work

Eastham Conservation Commission continues wastewater project review. The commission postponed final action on the Town of Eastham's municipal wastewater system for the Nauset Estuary watershed to April 28, requesting detailed site plans, buffer-zone information, pump-station specifications, and emergency protocols before approving the project, which includes approximately 16 miles of gravity and pressure sewer mains and four pump stations serving properties from 2475 State Highway to 5270 State Highway. The commission approved seven Certificates of Compliance for ongoing coastal maintenance and stabilization work and three Administrative Reviews for residential improvements including a deck and retaining walls.
