Eastham Recreation Commission approves annual report, tightens beach access enforcement. Director Christine Mickle's commission voted to file its 2025 annual report and recommended denying beach stickers to residents with unpaid recreation or afterschool program fees, aligning access enforcement with municipal tax and utility delinquency practices. The commission also refined the April 4 Easter Egg Hunt at the Elks Club, with ages 5-and-under indoors, 6-8 and 9-12 in separate outdoor sections and a maximum age of 12, due to ongoing solar panel installation.
Commission member Ed Casarella reported that the four-town Outer Cape Regional Community Center feasibility study estimates aquatic-center costs at 20 to 24 million dollars and requires unanimous town buy-in and State funding.
