Eastham Conservation Commission approves Phase 1 municipal wastewater system for Nauset Estuary watershed. The board unanimously approved the project, featuring approximately 16 miles of gravity and pressure sewer mains, four pump stations, and service connections to properties from 2475 to 5270 State Highway. Chair Karen Strauss's commission also unanimously approved three residential projects including demolition and new construction at 11 Bayberry Lane for David Silverman and Ana Davis, new construction at 95 Windjammer Lane for David Milliken, and a sand nourishment reduction at 31 Bayberry Lane for the Scott Family requiring three-year monitoring reports.
