Eastham Conservation Commission approves seven coastal and residential permits with special conditions. At the March 24 meeting, Chair Karen Strauss and commissioners approved permits for property modifications including dwelling reconstruction, seawall replacement, and sand nourishment work, each requiring detailed mitigation plans, canopy tree replacement, and habitat protection. The commission denied a tree removal permit for failing to mark trees and continued six applications requiring additional site plans and environmental analysis, including the Town of Eastham's Phase 1 municipal wastewater system with 16 miles of gravity and pressure sewer mains and four pump stations.
