Eastham Conservation Commission approves routine permits and advances dock licensing requirements. The six-member commission unanimously approved certificate of compliance applications for septic tank installation, view easement maintenance, building construction, and fencing improvements across town properties, along with delegated authority for debris removal at 30 Sander Lane pending Eastham Conservation Foundation approval. For a tree removal project at 30 Drake Circle, the commission approved cutting six trees with mitigation plantings of two Tupelo trees to replace a cedar tree damaged by storm.
The commission also approved language for new dock regulations requiring state Chapter 91 licensing for Great Pond waterfront improvements and scheduled a public meeting to formally adopt the rules.
