Eastham Library Trustees elect new officers and expand programs

Eastham library board elects new leadership amid program expansion. Robin Rowe was unanimously chosen as Chair, with Sara Higgins as Vice Chair and Willow Shire as Secretary. Library Director Melanie McKenzie announced new services including ASLDeafined for sign language learning, Music Bingo programming, and specialized youth collections.
The board approved $128.48 from mission funds for the annual Wall of Honor. Friends of the Eastham Library plan their June 6 annual meeting and June 27-28 book sale. Building repairs are expected to exceed the $50,000 appropriation.
