Eastham affordable housing trust authorized Chair Carolyn McPherson to represent them at upcoming finance committee meetings regarding a proposed CPA funding reduction. The town proposes cutting the trust's Community Preservation Act contribution from 3 to 1.5 percent, redirecting the remaining 1.5 percent to a Water Infrastructure Investment Fund for wastewater projects. The trust voted unanimously that while they have concerns about the funding loss, they will not oppose the change, acknowledging the critical need for wastewater infrastructure.
