Library Board Approves Computer Equipment Purchases
Eastham Library Trustees approved spending $6,566.48 on computer equipment and changed their meeting schedule. Chair Robin Rowe presided as Trustees unanimously approved $3,597.94 for two OPAC Desk Stations and $2,968.54 for new computers from ELBFI Mission funds, as well as a $156.99 reimbursement

Eastham Library Trustees approved spending $6,566.48 on computer equipment and changed their meeting schedule. Chair Robin Rowe presided as Trustees unanimously approved $3,597.94 for two OPAC Desk Stations and $2,968.54 for new computers from ELBFI Mission funds, as well as a $156.99 reimbursement to Trustee Al Alfano for 10th anniversary display items. The board unanimously voted to move regular meetings to the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Library Director Melanie McKenzie reported strong interest in summer programming following Youth Services Librarian Leah Dower's visits to Eastham Elementary School to promote the "Unearth A Story" reading initiative.
