Recycling Committee charts spring outreach with resident survey plan

Waste Reduction & Recycling Committee · Meeting of March 17, 2026

Eastham Recycling Committee advances resident survey and spring outreach initiatives. The committee is developing a resident survey using SurveyMonkey format based on an Eastham Climate Action Committee model, with distribution planned for the Swap Shop, Transfer Station, Town Meeting, Farmers Market, and other town events. Volunteer recruitment efforts are underway through posted flyers and social media outreach led by Gwyneth Butera.

The committee committed to staffing a table at the Health and Environment Fair in Harwich on April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is planning an Earth Day workshop at the library on trash and waste reduction topics.
