Search Committee reassigns leadership, reviews 14 town committee vacancies

Search Committee · Meeting of May 20, 2026

Eastham Search Committee identified 14 town committee vacancies and reassigned volunteer leadership during its May 20 meeting. Kate Paradise took over as secretary and clerk, replacing departing member Merrill Davidson, while Chair Sue Maren will continue for another year. The committee reviewed openings across the Human Services Advisory Committee, Board of Health, Planning Board, and Finance Committee, including one that may attract a candidate with public school administration experience.

Sue Maren noted that 12 vacancies stem from end-of-term resignations while two additional openings were created by Hope Plavin's election to the Select Board.
