Eastham Select Board declared dog Zouk dangerous after public hearing. Chair Jerry Cerasale and board members Suzanne Bryan, Bob Bruns, Aimée Eckman, and Jamie Demetri voted 5-0 to impose strict confinement on the dog, owned by Maryellen Kelley at 80 Linda Lane. Owner must install an enclosed outdoor kennel with roof and sides embedded two feet into the ground by April 6, 2026; the dog must be confined indoors or in the kennel.
When off-premises, the dog must be muzzled and restrained with a 300-pound tether no longer than three feet. Violations incur fines of $500 for a first offense and $1,000 for subsequent offenses.
