Eastham zoning task force charts implementation of amendments and state compliance requirements ahead of May Town Meeting. The Task Force on Residential Zoning and Regulation, chaired by Mary Nee, directed Planning Board Director Paul Lagg to contact consultant Barrett Consulting for clarifications on the draft Inclusionary Zoning Amendment. The group addressed compliance requirements imposed by the Massachusetts Seasonal Communities Act, which became effective February 27, 2026, and may require adjustments to town regulations and input from Town Counsel.
The Task Force agreed to request staff develop a preliminary list of additional issues for 2027 work.
