Tax Aid Committee assumes administration of taxpayer assistance fund

EASTHAM — Tax Aid Committee expands public outreach and assumes taxpayer assistance fund oversight. The committee approved previous minutes and reviewed an updated tax aid application with Colleen Mercurio assigned to prepare it for approval at the June meeting. Chair Eileen Morgan volunteered to draft language for a tax aid sentence to be added to property tax bill flyers, to be voted on at the June 2 meeting.
The committee will assume administration of the Resident Taxpayer Assistance Fund going forward.
